25 - 30 December
The Feria de Cali takes place from December 25 to 30. There are plenty of events on each day and 90% of the events are free of charge. The two most prominent events are:
December 25: Salsodromo ($)
December 27: Superconcierto ($)
Safety
How to stay safe
Most important for safety at the Feria de Cali is that you avoid getting drugged. In the last years, there is an estimation that 50,000 people get drugged in Colombia annually. Most of that happens during dates, but also sometimes at parties. Make sure you do drink only from bottles or cans that you open and that nobody has access to.
No taxis! Use Ubers only!

Most of the events take place near San Antonio in the North/West of Cali. Try to stay at a hotel there, which is also one of the safer areas of Cali. South of San Antonio, there are also many areas of the Feria de Cali.Avoid all areas east of the Calle 25.
What you need to experience
HIGHLIGHTS
Besides the Salsadromo and Superconcierto, make sure you also experience some of the special events like the meeting of collectors, the feria alternativa that hosts many local hiphop and metal musicians or also the final concert, which is free of charge.
